The trial of the Prime Minister of the Federation of B&amp;H, Fadil Novalić, and others, accused of procuring 100 ventilators worth 10,530,000 KM, continued today in the Court of B&amp;H.
Apart from Novalić, in the case of the disputed purchase of ventilators, the accused are the suspended director of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection Fahrudin Solak, the Minister of Finance of FB&amp;H Jelka Milićević and the owner of the company "Silver raspberry" Fikret Hodžić.
Novalić, Solak and Hodžić are charged with conspiracy to commit criminal offenses in connection with acts of abuse of position or authority, and receiving a reward or other form of benefit for trading in influence.
The indictment also charges them with money laundering, falsification or destruction of business or trade books or documents, falsification of official documents and violation of the obligation to keep trade or business books and compile financial reports and their falsification or destruction.

A cautious calm descended over Beirut on Thursday evening after nearly four hours of violence in the Lebanese capital left at least six people dead and more than 30 wounded.

The groups called for bringing those accountable for the violence to justice.
The protest started hours after a court dismissed a complaint against the judge and allowed him to continue the investigation.
The groups accuse the judge of bias, with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah recently saying that Bitar’s work “involves political targeting and has nothing to do with justice.”
According to the Lebanese Red Cross, the number of fatalities currently stands at six and more than 30 people have been wounded.
The organization’s update came after Lebanon’s Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi told reporters that five people were killed and at least 16 injured.
Among those killed was a woman who was struck by a bullet in her home, according to the state-run National News Agency.
Mawlawi said “the problem started with sniping, and the first person was hit in the head... the organizers of the demonstration assured us that it was peaceful.”
The Lebanese military said in a statement that the protesters were attacked while heading toward the Palace of Justice.
The army urged people to vacate the area and warned that any individuals with weapons will be shot.

According to the information that „Avaz“ has, one of the forged diplomas was identified as a diploma from the American School of Public Administration, which is in the possession of Pekić, the sister of Mehmedagić's close associate Muhamed Pekić, who was accused in the "Recordings" affair.
The Prosecution obtained information that there was no evidence of graduation in the Pekić's personal file, but Bisera Turković and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by her, refused to forward the requested information to the Prosecutor's Office. However, members of the SC MUP last week, on the order of the Court of B&amp;H, seized Pekić's personal file and forwarded it to the Prosecutor's Office.

The Prosecution considers that the use of a forged diploma in such an important place represents "a serious shame for BiH and a huge damage to the reputation of B&amp;H in the world", about which the B&amp;H MFA has already written.

He added that approaching Zijad Mutap and Barić from behind, he heard them say that Alisa could not be hit by a vehicle and that she was threatened. He then talked to Dr. Alija Čeljo, who told him that the situation was difficult, that Dženan had a hematoma on his brain, that they had to open his skull and that the operation would take four or five hours.
He had seen Alisa as she came out of the hospital in a wheelchair, covered with a blanket.
- Ariana asked Alisa how the car hit them. She replied, "Who told you we were hit by a car?" - Memić remembers.
Furthermore, Muriz found out that a pistol, caliber 6.35 millimeters, was found near Dženan and he did not know that he owned it. At first, Barić did not give him any information.
- He later told me "that this lady is messing around".
Subsequently, the keys of the vehicle that Dženan parked near the "Casa Grande" on the fateful night were also taken from the police station. In those days, he said, he saw Zijad Mutap on several occasions. He learned that Alisa's ex-boyfriend had threatened Dženan.
- Zijo swore to me with Allah that he had nothing to do with it. I told him - just tell me the name, I will protect Alisa - said Memić.
He also remembered the moment Alisa was at his house. According to him, when she wanted to leafe, she suddenly bent down to put on her shoes.
- I asked the doctor if someone who has a concussion could do something like that and I was told that it is impossible - says Memić
Particularly shocking was the part of the testimony in which Muriz recalled seeing Dženan in the hospital.
- His head was wrapped, he was on the machines. Except for the bandage on his head, everything looked normal. I uncovered him, he had no other injuries, just bruises on his fingers.

Every day, at 6 PM, they went to visit Dženan. The nurse told them to talk to him because he could hear them.
- I called him "Jara." He shrugged. After that, there was a brother-in-law whom he squeezed by the hand - Muriz said crying.
On February 15, his phone rang. The doctor told him that she was sorry, but that Dženan had passed away.
- I just said "okay." Everyone was with me, Arijana, my wife. I told them to call an ambulance - says Muriz.
He emphasized that the police did not look for him until February 17, 2016, after Dženan's funeral. He was then told that they had taken over the case. Earlier, on February 9th, Dženan's phone was turned on in the house. They found the messages Dženan was exchanging with Alisa.
- Dženan wrote to her: "You will not meet with them", to which she wrote to him "Well, hey, Dženan."

Memić recalled a meeting with then SC MUP inspector Olga Vukša.
- She told me that she attended the autopsy and that Dženan was hit with a metal bar that has a thicker end, 18 millimeters thick - Muriz said.
He said that Vukša later told him the same thing and that she added that they just couldn't determine whether it was one blow or more.
- She told me he was hit with a wheel or water key.
It was also strange to Muriz that everyone was interested in the gun that was found near Dženan and that he received the answer that "the other side is interested in him". Answering numerous questions from prosecutor Dubravko Čampara, Muriz emphasized that he was more than close with Dženan and that he would know that he had a problem with someone.

<h2>He was first pinned by a vehicle, then hit</h2>

In the meantime, they found a CD in the house. It is a recording from the residence of Kuwait that was sent by a son-in-law who works in the Canadian police. The video shows the vehicle, but they could not determine the color and markings. He told then head of the criminal police of the SC Ministry of the Interior, Džafer Hrvat, about the recording, who asked him if he gave the recording to anyone. Muriz said no.
- He said this was a murder. He had information that Dženan was first pinned by a vehicle, and that after that someone got out of the vehicle and hit him - says Memić.
He also recalled the meeting with the then commissioner of the SC Ministry of the Interior, Vahid Ćosić.
- On February 29, 2016, he told me that this was a brutal murder and that he would punish the perpetrator with the greatest punishment - said Memić.
At the beginning of March, he tried to meet with prosecutor Meris Ćato, who, as he concluded, avoided him.
Muriz, among other things, talked about the meeting with Dalida Burzić, the then chief prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, who then told him that she was sorry.

Prior to the commencement of testimony, the jurisdiction of the Court in this case was discussed. Judge Branko Perić, after the presentation of the Prosecution and the Defense, ruled that the Court of B&amp;H has jurisdiction in this case. In his explanation, Perić stated, among other things, that B&amp;H is a candidate for accession to the European Union, and the functionality of the judiciary is important in that procedure. Perić stated that international reports also stated that Dženan and David Dragičević were persons who were not from criminal organizations, and that the mentioned cases were unresolved.
- That compromised the judiciary and caused damage to B&amp;H. That is the main fact - said Perić.

- The words of the esteemed judge Branko Perić without any underlying intention, I have known Judge Perić for a very long time like other judges, and I can only say that this is a presentation of the highest European standards in the trial. I filed a criminal complaint against Dalida Burzić and other 44 known persons and several unknown persons on October 5, 2018. And it was based on Article 7, paragraph 2, item b.
Asking the question of what this harmful consequence has occurred and seeking proof of it means that you do not understand the essence of the legal provision. It is not enough to read the law, but to understand it, because the law is only then understood. You can read it but you didn’t understand it. Mr. Pribe recently stated that the Memić and Dragičević cases are a test for B&amp;H justice. Therefore, to expect his report to mention ongoing cases would not be professional, but he could not help but to say what he said as a guest two months ago in a show, when he said they follow everything, and that those two cases are the test.
Judge Branko Perić repeated that today when he said that through these two murders, huge damage was inflicted on B&amp;H justice. I do not want to prejudge, but I think that this is one big step in the right direction and what I have already said is not enough to administer justice, it should be seen that justice is administered. Ordinary citizens need to feel and see that justice is being done. So it is a small problem if you are judged by a court that is much more professional than any other court and this is the most professional court in the country. So if your problem is that you are being tried by the most professional court, then you need to say why - said Feraget.

<h2>I don't want this to happen to anyone again</h2>

- This was very emotional today, as expected. There are no problems with cross-examination, Muriz Memić has already answered that question. So when you would wake him up he can at any time of the day or night, unfortunately, and I can say that it was very stressful, a large number of judges and prosecutors followed this, and as far as I heard there were a lot of tears. So, I don't want this to happen to anyone again, not Alisa Mutap, not the lawyers, not anyone. People, we must come to our senses, do not say in vain let justice prevail and let the world perish. It is better for this society and state to fail, but for us to solve the Memić and Dragičević cases.
If we don’t resolve this, sometimes someone will remember these words. Believe me, we will stay in this same place for the next 50 or 100 years, because it will not occur to anyone after Muriz and Davor to fight for truth and justice. I warned Muriz Memić that this is a windmill, that it will last a very long time, but that he must remain calm and that he must not take any wrong steps. I think that today it is slowly being seen that justice is being done, without prejudice, all the accused are innocent until proven otherwise - concluded Feraget.

The Prosecution obtained information that there was no evidence of graduation in Pekić's personal file, but Bisera Turković and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by her, refused to forward the requested information to the Prosecutor's Office. However, members of the SC MUP last week, on the order of the Court of B&amp;H, seized Pekić's personal file and forwarded it to the Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors believe that Pekić, with a forged diploma, is working in the B&amp;H diplomatic mission in Brussels with NATO, as an employee of the B&amp;H MFA.
The Prosecution considers that the use of a forged diploma in such an important place represents "a serious shame for B&amp;H and a huge damage to the reputation of B&amp;H in the world", about which the B&amp;H MFA has already written.

However, it is indicative that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&amp;H and Bisera Turković for months refused to submit the personal file Pekić in the form of information and photocopies and thus knowingly obstructed the investigation.

A meeting of ambassadors with high-ranking RS officials began in East Sarajevo.
