Four people were killed when they fell through the ice on a lake in southern Sweden on Thursday, police said, as the country experiences a spell of unseasonably mild weather.

Four men aged between 65 and 75 were found in a hole in the ice on Savsjo lake, south of the town of Jonkoping, and could not be resuscitated after being pulled out of the water, a local police spokesperson told AFP. 
The exact circumstances of the incident were yet to be determined, she said.

EUFOR Assistant Commander, Brigadier Herbert Haller, Law Enforcement Liaison Officer Aleš Perko, Deputy Director of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs Mirsad Buzar, and Chief of Staff Branislav Mojević also attended the meeting.

Fahrudin Radončić, president of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB), was a guest last night on the show "Telering" hosted by famous B&amp;H journalist Mate Đaković.
In an interesting interview, Radončić answered the most intriguing political questions.
Radončić talked about the boycott of the elections in Srebrenica, the political destinies of the SDA, SNSD and HDZ, false political friendships with Biden, the formation of a large opposition bloc, who is testing whom, the role of the President of the Court of B&amp;H and the Prosecutor's Office, Memić and Dragičević cases, election fraud in Mostar, the change of the FB&amp;H Government, the responsibility that the FB&amp;H is the only area in Europe without a single dose of vaccine, the candidacy of Zvizdić and others for the Presidency of B&amp;H, the self-isolation of Bosniak politics in the region and the world, the right of citizens to change the government which is in power for decades...

<h2>We are second in Europe in the number of deaths from COVID 19</h2>

Radončić emphasized that the dissatisfaction of the citizens is extremely great and that it is actually justified.
- Take for an example, we are now the only part, especially I am talking about the Federation of B&amp;H, in the Europe that does not have any vaccine. And you have our neighbors in Croatia, which, as a member of the European Union, are successfully resolving this, not to mention Serbia, which is second in Europe in the number of vaccinated and fourth in the world. There are four types of vaccines and millions of their citizens can choose which vaccine they want, and the citizens of the Federation do not know whether it will be May or June, and then ping-pong takes place here.
The Federation says it should be done by the Council of Ministers, the Council of Ministers says it should be done by the entity governments and you have, of course, great negligence, people are dying. We are second in Europe in terms of the number of dead and tenth in the world. These are infamous records and proof that this government does not care about the lives of its citizens - said Radončić.
When asked by the show host, about what government he is talking about, Radončić answered specifically.
- You have SNSD, HDZ and SDA at the level of B&amp;H, in the Federation it is SDA, they have their prime minister. They have all the levers, they could procure the respirators at terribly high prices from some small, non-existent companies, such as the company "Srebrna malina", and you can't get vaccines from Pfizer or someone else. They, as the Council of Ministers or the entity government, had to support the procurements made by Serbia and Croatia and other countries and to enable their citizens to have their own vaccines. And not that it is more important to them what the situation is in the judiciary, the Intelligence Service, whether it will be, who is the director of the police is, how you will manage the people, from the problem that how the nation will survive the pandemic which is a planetary problem.
And when you add to all of that the social aspects of the crisis in B&amp;H, the lack of vision, the lack of economic projects, the lack of anything serious to be built in this country, then the dissatisfaction of the citizens is completely justified - said Radončić.

<h2>SBB will exclude Kljako in Mostar, Izetbegović should do the same with Marić </h2>

Speaking about the elections in Mostar, Radončić said that he would expel Anela Kljaka, the head of the City Board of SBB Mostar, from SBB for stealing votes.
- They stole from each other, but they also stole from individual lists. We will exclude this man, one man from SBB that stole the votes from his colleagues, along with his friend from SDA. But I will also ask Mr. Izetbegović to expel Marić (Salem, author's remark), because they did it together, said Radončić.
Commenting on the work of the Office for the Fight Against Corruption in Sarajevo Canton, the president of SBB said that both judicial and political message of the United States of America was being sent through the arrival of Eric Larson.
- Not only is a judicial message sent through his arrival, but also a political message from the United States government that they care about dealing primarily with systemic corruption here, and I think that things are going forward and are starting to work well.

<h2>It is paradoxical that the President of the Court of B&H does not report property</h2>

You see, they have already filed indictments, criminal charges against two of the three mayors who are not currently in positions in Sarajevo, because they did not report their property when they ran for the position. One standard is being established, and that standard must be raised to a higher level than the cantonal one. That message is very good.
You have a paradox, I will tell you openly, that the President of the Court of B&amp;H hides his property status, does not report his property. He even has two identities and citizenship that he did not report when he ran for President of the Court. He hid more property than one of those mayors who now has an indictment for it and, normally, no one mentions it. There cannot be one country with two different standards. Political and professional and criminal responsibilities, if any, must be borne. I will not prejudge anyone's guilt due to the fact that someone did not report property, it may not be a crime, so let the Court determine it on the basis of charges filed against these mayors, but it is certainly that you cannot be a judge, you must be a moral Sorbonne for the rest of the community and for us politicians, businessmen, journalists. If he does that, then it’s all pointless. I think that the fight against corruption and the help of foreigners are what goes with each other and that it can help B&amp;H a lot - Radončić emphasized.

- As the president of SBB and as the Minister of Security, I will always protect the authorities from so-called persecution. Both the Cantonal police and the Federal Police Administration should be allowed to do their job. You now have the attack on the State Prosecutor's Office. Let's analyze the situation. Not to mention the name or surname of that person, if one state prosecutor is able to initiate criminal proceedings or indictments within the institution and file two indictments against the former chief prosecutor and deputy, which will be confirmed in court, that means they first starts to settle the situation in their own home.
Here, an incredible tension arose among Bosniaks against Prosecutor Tadić due to the fact that the State Prosecutor's Office dared to have trial in the Respirators affair. Someone was involved in crime in the most dramatic moment in this country. These respirators can now be verified by 50 experts, I saw it yesterday, as they are correct respirators, and when you look at the certificate, they are again mobile respirators, not those that can be used in a serious medical way in intensive care.
If the State Prosecutor's Office does not have a complex to prosecute because of the head of the Intelligence Service, because you forged a diploma, because you misused your resources, why would I be against such a Prosecutor's Office? If we say there are no untouchables, why would you blame the prosecutor for that, and everyone wants some big fishes.
But if someone prosecutes the entity prime minister for buying goods, I tell you, for 10 million KM from a company called "Srebrna malina" that has no stamp, there is no counter guarantee that the money will be returned, you must say that the State Prosecutor's Office should work your job.
You see, if the Prosecution ruled against anyone, it was against me, but you can't live now on "you can't touch Bosniaks."

<h2>Politics is involved in destroying evidence in the Memić case</h2>

When asked by the show host Đaković whether resolving the cases of Memić and Dragičević can improve the image of judiciary in B&amp;H, Radončić said that the State Prosecutor's Office, as well as the Court of B&amp;H, should be the points that restore citizens' trust in the legal system.
- Even when the lower instances, the cantonal prosecutor's office or the entity, or the cantonal court, the municipal court, or the entity one makes obvious mistakes, everyone looks at the Court of B&amp;H and the Prosecutor's Office. What the Prosecution has done and ordered a month's detention for two people in the Memić case is slowly showing the multidimensional problem behind the murder.
The findings of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, and the lawyer, and the family of the murdered boy show that the politics is involved in destroying evidence. Now, the mentors of the whole case are unknowingly revealing themselves through the ordered texts in the press, because the whole blow is on the State Prosecutor's Office, why are they dealing with the Memić case? And who will deal if they won't, for what reason.
It is obvious that the structures that protected the killer or murderers are deeply involved in judiciary and politics and that the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H can only lead to justice, under one condition – that the Court of B&amp;H is not a court of the Intelligence Service or one person in that service, but that it is a court of citizens of the state of B&amp;H in such a way that it will treat what the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H in discovering the Memić case in the most professional way. Even if the Prosecutor's Office requests custody for someone, and is looking for him and it is on the trail to solve the case, that there is no obstruction of the Court of B&amp;H, that is, individuals, to be more precise, the leading man, who trivializes these things.
Do you see how many people are defending themselves from freedom? I did not have that privilege. Let them defend themselves from freedom, but you cannot let people who participated in the murder, or there are serious indications that they participated in the murder, defend themselves from freedom, and that has never been the case before. In that sense, the State Prosecutor's Office has huge support from the family, but I tell you it also has huge public support in B&amp;H. The same thing is with the Dragičević case from the Republic of Srpska, and in that sense I really expect that the State Prosecutor's Office will bring both cases to an end, if there is no obstruction of the first man of the Court of B&amp;H - said Radončić.

<h2>How Biden removed Silajdžić and praised Tihić</h2>

The president of SBB also answered what expectations he has from the new US administration headed by President Joe Biden.
- I expect that with the new US administration and with small European corrections, we will have better international miles. But the essence is that there will be no change if the citizens do not fight for it.
President Biden knows B&amp;H very well. Here, a race was especially created among Bosniaks to present to the public who is a better friend with him. However, we all forget that Biden, when he was the second man after Obama, came to Sarajevo. I remember that very well because he slept in the Radon Plaza Hotel, gave his famous speech in the Parliament and practically removed Mr. Silajdžić from the political scene, who blocked the April package, and said: "You in B&amp;H should vote for politicians" , pronounced his name directly, "what kind of Mr. Sulejman Tihić is". And he marked Mr. Tihić as an SDA reformer.
Now Mr. Biden can see Bosnia and Herzegovina and find it where he left it, and that nationalist and national policies are dominant and that those who are most often called to have been friends with Biden are in fact deceiving the public the most.
There is no friendship here, there is something called US interest. Fortunately, this interest is compatible with the interest of B&amp;H citizens. You have Huawei now, why is Bosniak politics pushing Huawei to do business with our "Telecom"? Why would China know, which is known as an authoritarian system, every piece of information about me, you, our connections? Our interests and the interests of the US Government are the same here. In that sense, I expect that we will have participation in new ideas, new personalities, personalities of compromise in the region, and not in conflict policies that have kept the country in the same place for decades - said Radončić.

<h2>Joining the opposition is an inevitable thing</h2>

Radončić also commented on relations with the Four, ie whether it is possible to unite the opposition.
- Joining the opposition is an inevitable thing, if we want to change the system in FB&amp;H, and I mean Bosniaks, who for 25 years made Bosniaks a self-isolated or isolated political people, made us one of the poorest, and perhaps the poorest part of Europe, we are completely isolated in regional, international communications, there are no serious development projects, people are leaving us en masse, we do not know how to deal with the migrant crisis and difficult other temptations.
I think it is time, especially after the events in the region, for one government that is 30 years, let's say 25, and in a year it will be 27 years in power, to show the citizens that changeability of government is possible legally and legitimately through fair elections and for the SDA to go into opposition. I think that a critical mass has been created even within that party, not to mention outside, when it comes to the Four, SBB, etc., that it should happen because we really should not be the last feudal point in the heart of Europe.
In that sense, the appearance of the Four is very good, we are not part of that story. There you have these tiny inter-party skirmishes now and that story has two sides. I have very correct relations with Mr. Nikšić, Kojović, Hadžibajrić, I talked to Konaković about ten days ago, we had lunch, and I think we are all aware of this previous diagnosis.
You have a charming situation in which Mr. Konaković says "We will test SBB, which helps us a lot in forming the Sarajevo government, Tuzla government and is not asking for anything", and I say "You know what guys, I'm testing you too". Well, ten years ago, when I was fighting with the SDA, when I was in custody, you were in that party. And in that sense, joke aside, I expect that the opposition, whether jointly, whether in two columns, whether in a coalition before the elections, or in a coalition after the elections, practically in the next big elections will enable change of government and a complete change of image of FB&amp;H and Bosnia and Herzegovina - said Radončić.

<h2>I don't earn anything from politics</h2>

In the end, Radončić said that SBB is going into serious reform and that this party must live as an alternative for the sake of the citizens and B&amp;H.
- In a personal sense, you know, I can't earn anything from politics, I can only lose as an industrialist. We will strengthen SBB. We are going to a serious reform of the party, we are going through the membership records, we are going to exclude people who have not justified the our trust, we are going to a new type of bringing people who will fight for the goals of SBB.
After all, SBB may have been one of the few parties with the SDP, which has been offering an alternative to the citizens for ten years, and that alternative must live for the citizens and for B&amp;H, and less for Fahro Radončić - said the leader of the Alliance for a Better Future.

FB&amp;H Assistant Minister of Health and member of the Crisis Staff of the FB&amp;H Ministry of Health Goran Čerkez said at today's press conference that measures to combat coronavirus will be extended due to the evident increase in new cases in several cantons in the Federation of B&amp;H.

-In a short period of time, there has been a significant deterioration of the epidemiological situation, especially in the Sarajevo Canton, but also in the Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina and Tuzla Cantons, which is why we have to be careful. Recently, we have noticed a drastic non-compliance with the measures by the population. This is especially important for the Sarajevo Canton, where a large number of people enter and leave every day. We believe that the measures in force are sufficient, but only if the population respects them&nbsp;- Čerkez emphasized.
He expects that more restrictive measures will be adopted in the Sarajevo Canton, and he expects a similar scenario in other cantons where an increase in the number of patients has been recorded. He states that the non-compliance with the measures in the last period, as well as the cases of large gatherings in catering facilities, led to the consideration of the reintroduction of rigorous measures and possible closures of the facilities.
He added that despite all these indicators, the citizens of B&amp;H still have reason to be optimistic because our country is only entering the second wave of the pandemic, while some other European countries are entering the fourth wave, despite the beginning of vaccination of the population.
Čerkez adds that the FB&amp;H Ministry of Health, together with the DRC, is working on the control of the health of migrants, tests are being performed on people housed in collective centers, and 31 people have been tested positive for coronavirus.
-We can say that there were relatively few cases of infection among migrants. We have formed isolation spaces, we have monitored and screened more than 60,000 people, improved the conditions for maintaining hygiene in the centers- he said.
Asked why the Federation of B&amp;H cannot procure vaccines on its own, following the example of the Republic of Srpska entity, Čerkez reminded that through the COVAX mechanism, B&amp;H was among the first countries to order 800,000 vaccines paid for by the Federation of B&amp;H, however, why vaccines did not arrive is a question for state institutions.
-The problem of vaccine procurement is global and globally only 2.1 percent of the population has received the vaccine. The state must participate in the procurement of vaccines, and the entities are legally prevented from doing so. I do not know or want to comment on how the Republic of Srpska imported a certain number of vaccines. The vaccine that comes to B&amp;H must be safe for the population and the state and diplomacy must be involved. The Federation of B&amp;H is ready to receive vaccines and the information that appeared in certain media that we do not have a cold chain is incorrect. Ambassadors of several European Union (EU) countries, led by the Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU Special Representative to B&amp;H Johann Sattler, visited the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC B&amp;H) and discussed the new convocation of the Presidency of that regulatory body, headed by Judge Halil Lagumdžija.

Faced with a surge in COVID-19 cases due to variants, France has devised a regional strategy imposing weekend lockdowns in cities like Nice, Cannes, and Dunkirk.

CEC B&H confirms the results of repeat elections in Doboj and Srebrenica

Minister of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina Miloš Lučić today signed a Protocol on cooperation in the project "Sustainable Integration of Foreigners with International Protection Status", with the American humanitarian organization "Catholic Relief Services" of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The project aims to provide refugees and foreigners under subsidiary protection with access to all areas of community life (health, social, educational rights and access to the labor market), the B&amp;H Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees said.
The project will improve the existing legal framework regarding the exercise of the rights of persons with international protection, strengthen the readiness of local communities to respond to the needs of these persons, and support their integration into B&amp;H society through an individual approach.
These are persons who already have a recognized status, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, like any other country signatory to international conventions, has an obligation to provide them with access to these rights. With this protocol, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of B&amp;H and CRS continue their long-term cooperation and harmonize responsibilities for the realization of project goals.

In the past 24 hours, 2,366 samples were registered with the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 542 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all the cantons in the Federation of B&amp;H, except in Posavina.
There are currently 5,255 active cases of SARS-CoV-2.
In the past 24 hours, nine new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of B&amp;H.
As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of B&amp;H is 2,655.
Today, 13 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Brčko District of B&amp;H, and 66 samples were tested. There are currently 121 active cases.
In the entity of Republic of Srpska, 816 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 202 people.
In the last 24 hours, two deaths were reported to the RS Institute of Public Health.
So far, a total of 2,232 people have died in the RS.
There are currently 2,919 people under health supervision, the RS Institute of Public Health said.

Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of B&amp;H, Colonel General Senad Mašović, talked with the Commander of the Maryland National Guard, Major General Timothy Gowen.

During the video meeting, they discussed the degree of implementation and efficiency of the current cooperation between the Armed Forces of B&amp;H and the Maryland National Guard, as well as the possibilities of expanding cooperation through joint activities with civilian authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
General Mašović informed the Commander of the Maryland National Guard about the role and engagement of the B&amp;H Armed Forces in difficult situations such as the Covid-19 pandemic, and the continuity in carrying out its activities in accordance with the legally defined mission and tasks.
General Gowen expressed gratitude to the B&amp;H AF as a partner for the successful implementation of all aspects of cooperation of the State Partnership Program (SPP) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US state of Maryland in the past period, and stressed the strong commitment of the US state of Maryland and the National Guard in providing support to the B&amp;H AF in the process of further activities of the reform of the B&amp;H AF, building and developing operational capabilities and capacities as well as in the process of transition of the B&amp;H AF on the way to full membership in NATO.
The partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US state of Maryland dates back to 2003 and was established to increase the interoperability of the B&amp;H Armed Forces with the US Armed Forces, and to provide assistance and support to democratic institutions and state bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Press Service of the B&amp;H Ministry of Defense.

Mašović-Gowen: Expand cooperation between B&H AF and Maryland National Guard

Lufthansa has announced the return of its flights from the Sarajevo International Airport and the line between Sarajevo and Frankfurt as of May 3 this year.

President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to B&amp;H Haldun Koç in a farewell visit.

Ambassador Koç expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and support during his term. For the next period, he announced the intensification of cooperation between the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey in the implementation of new and previously started projects.
Izetbegović thanked Ambassador Koç and the Republic of Turkey for their support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far. The officials also discussed meat export to Turkey as well as models of assistance to returnees to the RS entity through their participation in the implementation of the agreement.
They emphasized the importance of the project of the motorway from Sarajevo to Belgrade, which would connect large centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also Bosnia and Herzegovina with the region and Europe, and would also further strengthen relations with the Republic of Turkey. This project should be launched during the visit of the B&amp;H Presidency members to Turkey.
Izetbegović asked the Republic of Turkey to help Bosnia and Herzegovina in the procurement of coronavirus vaccines, the SDA said.

By reading the indictment and presenting the introductory remarks of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H and the Defense, the trial of the accused in the "Respirators" case has begun in the Court of B&amp;H.
The Federal Prime Minister Fadil Novalić, his Deputy Jelka Milićević, the suspended director of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection Fahrudin Solak, and the owner of the company "Srebrena malina" Fikret Hodžić are accused in this case.
Prosecutor Mirza Hukeljić said that the company that would procure 100 respirators was known in advance. As he explained, the procedure of selecting "Srebrna malina" was based on one SMS message sent to the accused Novalić and that he is doing everything according to the instructions of a person named Asim.
In their introductory remarks, the Prosecution said that the complete procurement plan was devised by Novalić, and that Solak and Hodžić followed the instructions.
Novalić, Solak and Hodžić are charged with having committed several criminal offenses, including abuse of position or authority, receiving a reward or other form of benefit. Milićević is charged with committing the criminal offense of negligent work in the service.
The indictment alleges that Novalić, using the powers of the Prime Minister, together with the Deputy Prime Minister, signed previously prepared payment orders on April 3rd, 2020., which was the basis for the transfer of money from the budget to the account of "Srebrna malina" in the amount of 10.5 million KM. 4,950,000 KM was transferred from the current reserve account, and 5,580,000 KM from the special account of protection and rescue funds.
The Prosecution has made clear today again: Purchased and delivered medical equipment (respirators, ACM812A) does not have even the minimum necessary essential characteristics for adequate treatment of patients with moderate and severe clinical picture due to COVID-19 disease, which is why its use in intensive care units is not recommended.

The B&amp;H Council of Ministers today adopted today a decision on the establishment of the Commission for Cooperation with NATO, as well as the Reform Program to be forwarded to Brussels.

The B&amp;H Foreign Minister Bisera Turković at a news conference after the CoM session said that the commission's name has been changed from the original "the Commission for the integration into NATO" to the present name of the Commission.
She explained that the commission will consist of seven representatives from each of the constituent peoples, who will make decisions according to the same principle as it is done in the Council of Ministers, in two rounds of voting.
Turković added that the vaccination against Covid was also a topic of today's session and that "we are still in the phase of waiting for that process to begin."
-We have a confirmation that B&amp;H has a "cold chain" capacity for the storage of Pfizer vaccines, and we have an announcement that the vaccines could arrive in the next few days- said Turković.
She underlined that B&amp;H has paid the requested amount of money for the vaccines on time and fulfilled other preconditions for their procurement and that if there is guilt for the delay of the vaccine, then it is on the side of the supplier.
Turković pointed out that after the affair with the procurement of ventilators, few would have the courage to embark on the process of the procurement of vaccines through a private contractor.
