The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, Gordana Tadić, together with the Head of the Special Department for War Crimes Milanko Kajganić and his associates, held a working meeting with prosecutors at the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals via video conference.
At the meeting, the Chief Prosecutor presented the work and activities of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H in the past and this year, with an emphasis on cases in which cooperation was established with the IRMCT Prosecutor's Office, cases previously submitted from the ICTY/ IRMCT through Category 2 cases or otherwise were cases of cooperation between the two prosecutors' offices.

The activities of the working meeting relate to the preparation of the report presented by the Chief Prosecutor of the IRMCT, Serge Brammertz, to the UN Security Council.

Pakistan will receive 15 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine from Germany by May, the nation’s foreign minister said on Monday.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the doses will be provided under the World Health Organization’s COVAX facility, which aims to ensure equitable provision of COVID-19 vaccines.
His remarks came in a tweet after meeting his German counterpart Heiko Maas as part of a three-day visit to Germany.
-Following my meeting with Foreign Minister @HeikoMaas, I am happy to announce that Pakistan will receive 15 million doses of the #COVID vaccine under COVAX, with a commitment for these to be delivered by May- he said.

An ancient Roman sculpture stolen more than a decade ago has been recovered after two off-duty officers spotted it in an antiques shop in Brussels, Italian police said Tuesday.

The "Togatus" marble piece, a full-body, headless 1st century statue of a toga-wearing man, was looted in 2011 from a villa in Rome, the art squad unit of the Carabinieri police said in a statement. 
The two officers saw it while walking around the Belgian capital's upmarket Sablon district, known for its antiques and vintage furniture shops, and became "suspicious," police said.
Their hunch was confirmed upon their return to Rome: checking police files on stolen art pieces, they saw that the statue they had spotted was the same as one that had gone missing.
The sculpture, worth around 100,000 euros ($119,000), was confiscated with the help of Belgian authorities and shipped back to Italy in February, police said. 
After follow-up investigations, an Italian art dealer who operated under a Spanish false name was charged with possession of stolen goods and exporting the statue illegally.

Facebook's independent Oversight Board announced Tuesday it would start accepting requests to remove "harmful content" that users believe has been wrongly allowed to remain on the leading social network.

The move broadens the mandate of the so-called "supreme court" of Facebook, which up to now had been tasked with reviewing instances of whether content was improperly taken down from Facebook or Instagram.
The Oversight Board, set up by Facebook to deal with contentious questions of content moderation, began operating last year and issued its first rulings in January. The decisions, which can overrule Facebook management, are binding.
-Enabling users to appeal content they want to see removed from Facebook is a significant expansion of the Oversight Board's capabilities- said Thomas Hughes, director of the Oversight Board administration. 
-The Board was created to ensure that fewer decisions about highly significant content issues be taken by Facebook alone, and that better decisions can be delivered through an independent and transparent process that works to safeguard human rights and freedom of expression. Mass vaccination of citizens against coronavirus continued at the Stjepan Kosača Cultural Center in Mostar today, and almost 800 people have been vaccinated so far.
 
The mass vaccination of Mostar residents began last Thursday. People over the age of 60 and the chronically ill are currently being vaccinated, said Kristina Bevanda, Acting Director of the Mostar Health Center, for FENA.
-Today we finished the vaccination with AstraZeneca, i.e. we consumed all doses of that vaccine from the previous shipment- Bevanda said, adding that they expect the delivery of Chinese vaccines from a donation from the Republic of Turkey during the day.
She stressed that, as vaccines arrive, they will increase their capacities and extend the working hours of vaccination.
She reiterated that with certain delays, the vaccination of health workers and people in nursing homes has been completed in Mostar.
After vaccinating people over the age of 60 and the chronically ill, we move on to the next group of priorities.
-Then we will have the freedom to invite all people who want to be vaccinated, regardless of age- Bevanda said.
She stated that, however, she is not satisfied with the dynamics of vaccination.

Austria's health minister announced Tuesday he would resign as he was overworked and exhausted managing the coronavirus crisis.

Rudolf Anschober became health minister early last year when his Green party formed an unlikely coalition with Chancellor Sebastian Kurz's conservatives, just before coronavirus started spreading rapidly in Europe.
-I've decided to resign from my job- the 60-year-old told reporters.
-I'm overworked and powered out- he said, adding that 15 months on the job had felt like 15 years.
He warned the pandemic was still in full swing and should not be "underestimated".
-We are not out of the woods yet- he said, becoming emotional as he thanked friends and colleagues.
Anschober said he had suffered circulation problems.
He had been absent for work since last week and also took a week off early last month when he checked into hospital.
Anschober had seen his profile rise rapidly during the crisis, even eclipsing the popularity of his boss mid-last year as Austria managed to keep the pandemic relatively at bay during the first wave.
Anschober told AFP in an interview last year how helping steer the country through the pandemic had been "quite a challenge", including curtailing freedoms normally defended by the Greens, such as those of movement and assembly.

India has authorised emergency use of Russia's Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine, the health ministry said Tuesday, as infection rates soar to record highs and some major cities boost their hospital bed capacity.

Sputnik V is the third vaccine to be approved by India after the Oxford-AstraZeneca shot and Covaxin, which was developed by Indian firm Bharat Biotech.
The recommendations of an expert panel (SEC) had been accepted to authorise its use, the health ministry said in a statement.
-The SEC recommended for grant of permission for restricted use in emergency situations subject to various regulatory provisions.-G.V. Prasad, co-chair of pharmaceutical company Dr Reddy's Laboratories, said his firm was "very pleased to obtain the emergency use authorisation".
-With the rising cases in India, vaccination is the most effective tool in our battle against Covid-19- he added.
The South Asian nation of 1.3 billion people has been battling a huge surge in virus cases in recent weeks that has prompted night curfews and a clampdown on movement and activities.
India on Monday reported more than 161,000 new cases -- the seventh-consecutive day that more than 100,000 infections have been recorded.
In India's financial and film capital Mumbai, city authorities said Monday that three more field hospitals, each with 2,000 beds including 200 for intensive care, would be built in the next six weeks.

RDIF chief executive Kirill Dmitriev said in a statement that the approval was a "major milestone" after "extensive cooperation" on clinical trials of the shot in India.
Experts welcomed the authorisation but warned that the vaccine was unlikely to be available for use in the near-term.
"It's good news as it will boost the supply of vaccines in India... but it's not going to do too much for the current surge (in cases)," virologist Shahid Jameel told AFP.
Dmitriev told Indian broadcaster NDTV that the first doses could be ready by late April or May, with ramped up production by June.
-We believe by June, we will really be at good production capacity in India and will become a very meaningful player in vaccination programme in India- he added.
India, home to the world's biggest vaccine manufacturer, kicked off its inoculation drive in mid-January and has administered more than 108 million shots so far.

Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency of B&amp;H (SIPA) submitted a report on the measures and actions taken in connection with the proceedings at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), headed by Sebija Izetbegović, wife of Bakir Izetbegović, SDA leader.
We remind you that, by order of the Municipal Court and the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, SIPA members last week seized documentation on respirators that Bakir's Fadil Novalić (SDA) procured through the company of Fikret Hodžić and his "Srebrena malina". Apart from KCUS, the documentation was also exempted from the "Verlab" laboratory and the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FCPA).
Earlier, the letter of the anesthesiologist from KCUS, which was sent to the Management of this medical institution, was excluded.

According to Luka Miladinović, SIPA spokesman, the report was submitted together with the attachments to the SC Prosecutor's Office and the Sarajevo Municipal Court, according to which they acted.
- The report was sent on April 9th - Miladinović told us.
According to Avaz, a part of the documentation was handed over yesterday as well.
These activities were initiated after a letter from doctors appeared in public, which spoke about the catastrophic situation at KCUS and stated that "Srebrena malina" respirators cannot be used to treat COVID patients.

A few days ago, state and cantonal prosecutors were at KCUS, as well as inspectors from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and inspectors from the Federal Inspectorate.
As far as KCUS is concerned, SIPA, on the order of the prosecutor, seized documents on respirators that were put into operation in COVID wards, according to whose instructions, how many are in order now and which of them are not working. These are 30 respirators, which were obtained and requested by this medical institution.

According to the information that "Avaz" has, SIPA took out three registers from "Verlab", in which all work orders, measurement reports, the contract between FCPA and "Verlab", as well as certificates for all respirators verified so far.
It’s the same with FCPA. Contracts with "Verlab" were revoked, as well as the original documentation related to the distribution, installation and verification processes of the ACM812A respirators.

Acting on the order and supervision of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA police officers, with the support of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, the RS Ministry of Interior, Foreigners Affairs Service and ISA B&amp;H, carried out an operation codenamed "Fast" and deprived of liberty five suspects, and conducted searches of facilities at several locations.

The activities were realized in cooperation with USKOK and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, and are aimed at detecting and prosecuting the organizers of illegal smuggling of dozens of migrants from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia and other EU countries.
The suspected organizers are citizens of Afghanistan, and the investigation established that, acting as an organized group with other suspects, in order to gain illicit property, they organized, coordinated and smuggled dozens of illegal migrants, mostly citizens of Afghanistan, who came to B&amp;H from Serbia, and were smuggled across the river and land border from B&amp;H to the Republic of Croatia.
As part of this operation, a coordinated investigation by the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia lasted for several months, in order to identify and process the perpetrators.

An unidentified attacker shot dead a man and badly injured a woman outside a Paris hospital on Monday before fleeing the scene on a motorbike, police said.

The attacker fired several shots at the Henry Dunant private geriatric hospital run by the Red Cross in the upmarket 16th district, sources close to the investigation said.
-One person died and one is seriously injured- a fire service source said.
The two victims were taken into the hospital for treatment after the shooting.
The man died from his wounds.
The injured woman works as a security guard at the hospital, which runs a Covid-19 vaccination centre.
There was no immediate indication as to the attacker's motive.
Police cordoned off the area around the hospital, AFP journalists said.
A fire engine and several police vans lined the street outside the facility.
The hospital is situated close to the river Seine about four kilometres (2.5 miles) south of the Eiffel Tower and near the Parc des Princes football stadium.

First, media close to ISA and clientelistically connected persons and court cases announced that Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša and President Borut Pahor were lobbying in Brussels for the peaceful division of B&amp;H and the completion of the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia, which means changing the borders of Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia.
B&amp;H Presidency member Željko Komšić reacted quickly, confirming that Pahor, during his last visit to Sarajevo, asked members of the collective head of state if there was a possibility of a peaceful ethnic split in B&amp;H.

Šefik Džaferović, the guardian of Bakir's chair, also referred to the talks with Pahor, specifying that both he and Komšić and Pahor expressed the view that there could be no peaceful disintegration of B&amp;H, while Milorad Dodik, as expected, said that a peaceful breakup Serbs, Croats and Bosniaks in B&amp;H is desirable.

Basically, we spent another morning reading about the grim scenarios that Europe and perhaps the United States allegedly intended for B&amp;H, all with the simple goal of forgetting Komšić's non-paper that really exists and that appalled diplomats in Brussels and at UN headquarters.
In fact, the story of Janša and Pahor should have served as a logical continuation of Komšić's premonitions, troubles and accusations against Brussels and (twisted) Washington, and their hidden intentions towards B&amp;H.

<h2>Quinte's sharp response to Komšić's non-paper</h2>

Perhaps this media-political spin would have lasted more than a few hours if Komšić had not received a fierce response from the Quinta countries last week and a warning to turn to reforms and economic development in B&amp;H, instead of using the rhetoric of conflict and unnecessary political tensions. 
In the end, however, he tried and fired a blank again. Cynics would say that if he had spoken so many times (and not once) about the "Respirators" affair or the situation at KCUS, that anyone had seen his personal effort to get life-saving vaccines against coronavirus, maybe today someone would believe in his political mirage that the state of B&amp;H, that he and his partners from the SDA repeat every now and then, is endangered even before the disintegration.
Thus, Komšić's melodramatic political plays every day look more and more like a tragicomic monodrama in which the main character is less and less reminiscent of the righteous Robin Hood who fights against the hated enemies Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, and more and more of the lying Bakir's Pinocchio, who tests Bosniaks by spreading fear, where is the border after which they will also say - the Muslim country of Bosnia is also good for us, smaller than the state of B&amp;H, but it is only ours.
