Although it's been more than a month since the Appellate Division of the Court validly sentenced Zijad Turković to 40 years in prison, he has not  been sent to prison and is still in detention unit of the State Court in Sarajevo, where he enjoys almost the hotel conditions.

Previously,  "Avaz" wrote, that for Turković is already prepared cell in the strictest guarded fourth criminal correctional institution in Zenica, but that cell is still waiting on this future tenant.

In other even after the sentence similar cases in the Court, previously they were treated more quickly than this one. For example, the Appellate Panel of Section I for War Crimes of the Court of BiH dispatched on June 13 last year, the second-instance verdict in the "Veselin Vlahovic" and already on July 4, the media confirmed that Grbavica monster is transferred to  Foca facility to serve his sentence!

Legija: Example from Serbia

How other countries from region treat  dangerous criminals, shows an example of Ulemenka Milorad Legija, who was also sentenced to 40 years for the preparation of the assassination of the late Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić. Thus, on September 4th last year the Court of Appeal in Belgrade confirmed decision of  Belgrade High Court, with which former commander of the JSO got extended another two years in stricter prison regime in the Special Department Penitentiary Zabel, in which he was sent to serve his sentence four years ago ! The question is whether someone protects Zijad Turkovic and who that someone is.

Although  Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention and Other Measures in Bosnia and Herzegovina as one of the institutions responsible for the execution of criminal sanctions, detention and other measures of the Court is referred to the Ministry of Justice, in this institution yesterday justified the lack of jurisdiction.

Who is in charge

When asked why Zijad Turkovic is not transferred to prison to serve his sentence and whether in this case he is treated differently than it is in usual practice, or whether Turkovic respects different treatment or eventually somebody protects him in order not to be transferred to serve his sentence, the Ministry responded that the verdict in the case Turkovic is imposed and that for all further proceedings Court is competent.

Kreso: No comment

We were not able to get more information  from the Office of the State Court of Public Relations, many of our questions on this subject yesterday remained unanswered. Also, the Court president Kreso Meddzida could not provide us an explanation why Turkovic has not been sent to prison, and asked us to discuss about this matter in the coming days.
Significantly, for the execution of criminal sanctions and the work of the penal institutions in charge is assistant of state minister of justice, Mustafa Bisić.

Bisić: Connections with SDA

Bisić is a longtime military and cantonal prosecutor in Sarajevo, and public is known that he is close  to SDA for years.

Last week, at the same question,  from the Court answered to us that the written verdict is not over and that therefore they are not able to respond.

Turković's connections with SDA octopus

Do we need to remind that Turković had close connections with SDA for years, that his wife Šejla Jugo-Turković was declared as "credible witness under oath" by the Bosniak Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović (although she had total fiasco in Priština Court during process "Kelmendi" testimony, and was cought in lie for a numerous times), and that very private phone conversation between Turković and SDA secretary general Amir Zukić were discovered.

There is also unavoidable family Čampara, considering that FB&H Minister of Interior Aljoša Čampara (SDA) was in a long relationship with Turković's wife and partner Šejla, and that Dubravko Čampara, Šejla's almost brother-in-law and Aljoša's brother, used her to frame Fahrudin Radončić, lieder of BH opposition.

How long it will be necessary to wait for Zika's transfer to Zenica jail is the fact which will indicate is this SDA octopus ready to help Zika in the future.
